The beginners Cantonese course was a very helpful introduction not only to Cantonese, but also to Hong Kong and its culture. The teacher tailored the course so that I could benefit from learning more relevant language skills for my situation.

The activities that the students can be involved in outside of the regular classes has allowed me to meet a number of interesting people from all walks of life, which is invaluable to someone new to Hong Kong. The Cantonese course level 1 at “Hong Kong Modern Language Centre” is an excellent course. It is very informative and also help me make further advancement in Cantonese learning.During the lesson, I have learned a lot of things, not only the basic listening and speaking but also practical daily communications.
